Forsberg is the real deal. I'm sure he will cool off at some point. A lot will depend on Rinne staying healthy. Jarnkrok is looking pretty good, too. |

Two best trades of the last 2010's?
Rundblad for Tarasenko
and
Erat for Forsberg

Forsberg's percentage is high, yes, but 15% is sustainable throughout a season. The odds are not in his favor that he will continue at this rate but many goal scorers have maintained a shot percentage of 15% or higher at least once in their career. So, in essence, I agree with Paul that he can continue this.
Pearson, on the other hand has a highly unsustainable shot percentage of 25.9% and if he dropped to even 15%, we would be looking at a difference of 3 goals. That would put him pretty far back in the Calder race, so far back he probably wouldn't be talked about right now. Furthermore, he only has three assists so you have to wonder whether or not he will be a problem at the end of the year.
Gaudreau, on the other hand, has a very sustainable shooting percentage. His PDO, though, is almost as high as Forsberg's so I would expect those two to be in fierce competition throughout the season. |

It sure was a steal for the Preds. I was hoping the Pens could pry him away in the Neal trade. |

Predators got the win in that trade. |

You probably wouldn't have gotten Hornqvist then. And that trade seems to be working wonders for both teams. |

He looks really good. Appears to have personal stuff in check and looking like a solid 1st line guy. Great fit for the team. |

Ribiero had an interesting comment in the pre-game versus Dallas. He was asked about how it will be like playing in a familiar building against his old team. He replied with something about not being liked in most buildings, so he's kind of used to it. |

Why do I smell a trap game coming on Tuesday. Coming home after a long, successful road trip. Past history has shown this is when the team lays an egg. |

Hopefully that was in a previous life, meaning old coaching staff. |

Yes, Lavy doesn't strike me as the kind of coach that would put with that mess-not for one minute...
